Look at Butter the Bean's profile. There is an article in his signature that will help you a lot.

BTW, what you are experiencing is referred to as the 3 week stall. Most sleevers experience it.

I am at 8 months. I weight myself about every 3-4 weeks. This way I don't see the stalls. Every months I lose at least 10 lbs. we can't eat less than we are eating, I have been exercising a lot once I got to one month post op. actually, I started E at one month but just got better and better every month.

If at all possible stay off the scale, follow the instructions and you really can't go wrong. Occasionally thru this, I have been on the scale daily & nothing happens, then all of a sudden my body drops 5-7 lbs. I do not regain any of it, I just keep losing EACH MONTH. Your mom is WRONG, you are not wrong. Our bodies are a chemistry project, the body gives up the pounds when it wants to.

My life is awesome w/ this 100 lbs off me. I am so comfortable living life now. You are going to love running around with your kid sooner than you can imagine. I had no comprehension on the magnitude my weight was keeping me from living life. Hang in there

Thank you so much!! I am going to start doing that, weighing myself every 3-4 weeks. I am so excited to feel as good as you do :) contrats on your 100lb lose!

Congratulations on your surgery! Definitely read the article that O.T.R. suggested above, you'll have some facts behind stalls etc. You are still healing, give yourself a break. You will do fine, keep following your doctor's instructions and don't let anyone make you feel bad. You had major surgery less than a month ago, your body needs to adjust. Stick with it and give it time.

Good luck !

I totally agree about not weighing yourself daily!!! I weigh myself at most once a week, it helps me stay focused on getting healthy rather than just a fluctuating number. It will do you good and reduce your anxiety!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
