Just got back to my room surgery went well. Besides some gas pains in my chest I feel ok :) yay for dr Garcia and his amazing team

      Maybe the Spanish translation of pain medication would help? Medicamentos para el dolor (Medic-ah-MENT-ohs PAR-ah el DOH-lore) Or just show the nurse the words. And say "mas" so he or she knows

    Think I spoke too soon. The gas pains in my chest hurt worse now and I threw up. Kept asking for meds but nurse didn't understand me

    Oh that's a good idea I didn't think about showing her the words. I did get meds and helped tremendously. Was able to sleep some and walk more. Thanks for the idea!

    Last might was tough but Yay a shower makes everything feel better :) just waiting to do a leak test
