I have been using the Unflavored Isopure since my pre-op diet. It really helped that I had the unflavored especially in the first two weeks post op. I added it to broth and Crystal Light. I will say though that I got brave once and added two scoops to one serving of Crystal light - hoping to easily double my Protein quickly. But, it just didn't taste right. Kind of nasty. One scoop works wonderfully for me though. It makes things taste a little different to me, but not so much that I can't drink it. Now that I'm used to it I don't even realize the difference in taste. I think it's a great product. If you decide to try, good luck! Hope you like it as much as I do.

Hi Mini! I add one scoop to a regular sized serving of Crystal Light, 16.9 oz. The best flavor that I have tried it with in my opinion is the Cherry Limeade. Love it! Not sure if this will help you or not, but I found that the colder the drink it, the better it is. Most of the time I will use my Magic Bullet with the Crystal Light packet, Water (little less than the 16.9 since adding ice and it will melt), protein and some ice...wonderful slushie! Tastes yummy and I tend to go through it a little easier because I don't have that mindset of thinking it's just another protein drink!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
