Mosh pit for Pink Floyd. That is tragic. I always thought Pink Floyd was for sitting in the stands smoking some weird smelling cigarettes

Back in my "moshing" days it was to bands like the butthole surfers....

Dust devil !!!

OMG Butthole Surfers!!! Love!! Crap, I'm old. In high school, moshing was done at shows like Nuclear Assault, Anthrax or Slayer...

Pink Floyd! Wow how cool! But I'm thinking like Jenn too. Mosh pit stuff for me is like Korn or Sevendust but that's just me. Pink Floyd would be hard for me to pass up tho, they're classic! Have fun!

I don't think Pink Floyd will be a mosh I think it will be a gentle sway .... ;) I think as long as you aren't at the very front where you can be pushed against the barriers you would be fine stick to the back of the "mosh" and have an escape route handy. Enjoy! I'm jealous :)

I've encountered this situation twice post-op since my partner likes hardcore metal and punk rock (we went to a 4 hour concert last night and two of the bands were Lagwagon and Pennywise).

I find that I'm alot more aware of things, people coming at me or toward my stomach. If its totally crazy, I'll make it towards the back of the crowd just to be safe.

Enjoy and wear something fun!!!

I'm confused. The real Pink Floyd? David Gilmour?

Or a cover band?

I didn't think Floyd was touring. Hope I'm wrong.

A Pink Floyd mosh pit? What's next, a Kenny G mosh pit? Maybe a Zamfir mosh pit?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
