I see two things on your list of regularly eaten foods that may be causing you problems. The first is Soup. What kind of Soup. That is a slider food for me because it is liquid. I can drink, ounce wise, way more than I can eat in solid food. 8 oz versus 2 oz. The other is "tuna salad". What is in your tuna salad? mayo? You can be getting huge amounts of fat and salt in your diet from both those things. Are you using something like myfitnesspal.com to track your food? I have to be careful because I have a fat tooth and it would be really easy for me to double my daily calories with fat.

I still don't understand how I am able to even eat that much? Everything I have read has said I shouldn't be able to eat more than 600 calories a day.

I am afraid to try meat this soon. I was going to wait another 3 weeks before I do that. The only thing that's made me sick since the surgery is the smell of eggs. It's weird because I liked eggs before the surgery.

The foods I have been eating are:

Cottage cheese

string cheese

Soups (getting so tired of soup)

really finely chopped up tuna salad

Protein bars

occasionally I will have a few bites of a potato when I'm craving something to sink my teeth into

All the foods I eat are on my list of foods my doctor gave me. They said Protein Bars are fine as long as they are low carb and low sugar (which they are).

200 calories is too much for a meal? How many should I be eating per meal? Also, I'm very scared of losing my hair. That's why I have been so diligent with the Protein intake.

I was sleeved on 1/31/13. I am down 16lbs to plus 12 pre op and I am thrilled. I am down 28 lbs in 28 days. How could I not be happy about that?

I eat 500-600 calories a day, I focus on high Protein low carb food. But, I make all of my own food. I eat eggs, pureed homeemade chili, ricotta bake and then I mix in some light greek yogurt and cheese. I feel great. Do I feel like I could eat more? Yes, sometimes. But I don;t. I use My fitness pal, track every calorie and I am happy with my progress.

I would reduce your calories, drink more fluids and avoid processed foods like Protein Bars.< /p>

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
