hey guys. just curious here. i am almost 4 weeks out. i've lost 25lbs preop and an additional 25lbs postop so far. my question relates to the bedroom. does anyone else having a problem with finishing prematurely?? like i mean a little too soon. faster than normal??? never ever had a problem before even at my biggest at 370lbs. and honestly before surgery i could last 30-40 minutes straight. i am so confused/worried. please help. is this normal? anyone else experience this ??

I've had totally the opposite, I've lost 49kg & am so fit I'm about to enter my 1st half marathon. The bi-product for me has been that I can go harder for wayyyyyy longer than I ever did. Im not boasting or trying to be controversial or silly I'm just saying......

Original poster clearly did not ask for the female perspective. :)

I agree. PDXman, since I don't have a penis- I don't really have an answer :)

Nope, they didn't. Yet ...

If you're going to contribute, contribute.

So then, Yay, let me state the question clearer for you ...

Have you noticed being able to have a big O quicker, whether it be with your SO or solo?

No. "O" hasn't been hasn't been more intense nor has it happened quicker. However, getting there has been more fun. More positions because of more flexibility. Also, there more passion and less truffle shuffle.

You should check it out sometime. It's one of my favorite childhood movies.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
