Can you have the Isopure clear liquid Protein drinks? (sold at Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, etc.).

We were both sleeved on the same day and I am feeling exactly the same way right now. My surgeon allows only two substances for 2 weeks post-op, one 8oz optisource(split into four 2oz servings) and 2 liters of calorie free beverages. That adds up to about to <30 grams of Protein, <250 calories, and one hungry girl. I am thinking to add some Syntrax Nectar to my Fluid intake. I know that is technically cheating but if I don't up my protein I may be tempted to do something more drastic. Best of luck. I feel your pain.

I was sleeved on the 12th and for 2 weeks I am to focus on 64+ ounces of non caloric liquids. Only adding Protein if I feel weak or shaky. I've not really been hungry but did notice the muscle weakness an shakiness the past 2 days. I'm counting down to next Tuesday and a scrambled egg :)

I am still pre op but read these boards every day and have learned a lot. Are you on a PPI? I have read that acid can mimic hunger. Just putting it out there.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
