I'm in Plainfield, In. I have my last apt. With the NUT on April 22. Then to insurance for approval. I'm hoping that will be fairly fast. I'm also hoping the surgeon doesn't have a huge wait...I'm ready for this. I'm at St Vin. Carmel. I'm a little disenchanted with my surgeon.....I can't get her office to call me back.

No I haven't. I'm still waiting on a call from my Dr. I'm also wanting to lose 100 to 105. So far I've lost 30 on the liver reduction diet.

I've started the liver reduction diet. Its not too hard so far, but I'm only on day 2 lol. The hardest part for me is having to eat 3 meals and 3 Snacks a day and I m so busy I hate keeping a food journal.

I've been on it since Jan 11 which was my first appointment. The first month I did have a few last suppers for myself. The three major ones were eating sushi, homemade beef and noodles and drinking beer. The first thing I did was cut out diet coke and that happened the very first day.

Cacucci did my friends RNY 8 years ago. She's a good Dr., but she's not known for her bedside manner. I don't know about her office staff.

Yes I'm taking a multi Vitamin and calcium citrate with D. I'm supposed to be journaling but I don't. I eat basically the same thing everyday for lunch and Breakfast. I haven't had a Carb since I quit drinking beer over 2 months ago. I'm going to Nashville next week and I am going to have some Hot chicken.< /p>

I don't really snack but sometimes when I get home from work early in the afternoon I'm hungry. At times like that ill eat some low fat cottage cheese or string cheese.

Jerky is packed full of protein! It's a good snack. And the turkey Jerky and chicken jerky doesn't have a high sodium content. Yogurt and cheese are always good. :)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
