I got sleeve on Friday and I keep asking myself what I have done. I feel down. Can anyone help. I'm feeling depresse. Sleeve therapists where are you?

Honey you are not alone. I broke down to my husband today as i was gagging up my antibiotics....feeling nausea and a bit of pain. I couldn't believe I had done this to myself. He asked me a simple question "why did u do it"....It reminded me off all the awesome reasons i did this and even though i still physically felt the same, I knew i did it for the right reasons and this too will pass!

Thank you. I going to get some tomorrow. So remove the skin and put 8 oz of hot Water and drink the water. Like a tea right. I'm only taking like 4 a day of water. Don't know what I'm going to do. I need to keep myself hydrated

so how much can you eat at a year out swimmer? seeing as i'm on a completely liquid diet and only expect to do 2 ounces at a go after it ends...i'm a bit curious how much you feel comfortable eating at a year out.

At a year out I feel I can eat like a normal thin person if I wanted. I seem to have much more restriction than many I know at a similar point. If it's Soup, yogurt or soft food like that I can eat a single serving now. I still can only eat 2 oz of meat or solid Protein. I can now eat almost an entire Protein Bar those most can eat it all at this point. I can't have bread, Pasta or tortillas without feeling super uncomfortable. I don't eat it often but I can eat half a piece of pizza. It just makes me sick so I don't. I can easily eat a small piece of fruit or a string cheese for a snack. It just feels normal. I eat slow and it's a much better life.

You need to get some Gas X strips they really do work and so does walking. Everyday will get better. Try and keep positive it makes the time fly faster. sleep all you can and make sure to get your Fluid in. That is the most important so you wont get dehydrated. Worry about your Protein later, try some gatorade it might godown easier. Keep us up to date. We are here for you, it will get better you have to believe. :-)

I think everyone goes through a freak out moment after surgery " WTF DID I DO" Try to remember all the reasons you got the surgery :)you want Better health, higher self esteem good body image ,nice sexy clothing ,normal shoes, No yo yo dieting. This is what calmed me down and reminded me of why I had the surgery. I also YouTube before and afters, that's my favorite. Hang in there it will get better day by day. Get your liquids, protein, meds in and walking helps with the tummy discomfort :) It will get better you made the right decision xoxo

I regret not having this done before I ballooned to 360 pounds. It was very difficult at first, but got easier as time passed. I have lost 94 pounds. I feel great and my joints don't ache anymore. This was the BEST decision I could have ever made.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
