  1. I have lost 97 lbs. in ten months. I would have to say that the improvement in my health trumps all of the other awesome things that vsg has brought into my life. It has been the best decision of my life.
  2. I was sleeved on 10/8 and am down 54 lbs. My weight loss has slowed down a lot in the past three weeks. I lose about two lbs. per week. I still find it hard to drink all 64 oz. of water every day. It Rarly happens.
  3. Weight gain right after surgery is to be expected. They told me in the hospital I would be up apprx. Ten pounds due to all of the I've fluids and advised me to wait a week or two after I got home to weigh myself. When I did weigh myself after two weeks I was down 17 pounds.
  4. Raynuad syndrome may be the problem. You may want to google it. Hope this helps.

  8. I was not losing any weight at 400-500 calories a day. Saw my nutritionalist and she told me I need to get 600-900 calories per day. Since I have upped my calories and get 60-90 grams of protein in I have been losing 3 to 4 pounds a week.
  9. Don't let the judgemental people get you down. It irks me when I read negative things on here. We are here to support each other, not to bring people down. I am happy to hear that you are in a better frame of mind. Keep up the good work.
  10. My feelings were very intensified from day three to apprx day seven and I had very weird dreams which really sucked. I am fine now. It's just a distant memory. It will be fine just give it time.
  11. I was sleeved on 10/8 and am down 32 lbs. 7 from two week pre-op diet. Yeah
  12. I was sleeved 10/8. I am down 28 lbs. that includes a 7 lb. loss from the two week pre-op diet. I also went thru a 10 day stall at day 18.
  13. I was uncomfortable too but by the end of week three it was gone. The first week, week and a half are the most difficult. It will get easier. Just take one day at a time. I would do it over again. The discomfort is a small price to pay for a lifetime of health and happiness.
  14. I was told that I would probably be up ten pounds after all of the fluids they pumped into me at the hospital and to not weigh myself for two weeks after surgery.
