Today i found out that i streched my pouch

Recommended Posts

No pain what's so ever. I actually started lifting weights for my arms. I promise you. It's extremely funny for the things I can do compared to the ppl that had the surgery the same time as me.

This is actually making me really upset now. Who the f do these people think they are? Contact a malpractice attorney ASAP. It's sounding like you have a case here.

Without knowing the person on the other end of this conversation or examining her, how are you so sure this is malpractice? Why is the doctor wrong, you're hearing one side of the conversation.

I know. Now you know my pain. Thru out my 7 weeks I have have only messed up once and I was so scared of what could happen. I turned 30 a 2 weeks ago and I told my friends and family dinner would be a waste of time. And no partying because I can't drink. I am HUGE on borthdays so to not come into my 30's with a bang had to be for a great reason. and getting a new start was one but it going down the wrong tunnel. Something in my heart tells me that it was done wrong and god hates ugly so the truth is coming. Ill keep very one posted. Within the next couple of days.

Please keep me I your prayers with this journey!

It's about facts. At this point I will gather up my info and go to another surgeon and see what's going on.

I understand her because if she was truly sleeved and has the paperwork she signed to prove it then what is happening to her is not possible. It's not physically possible to eat that much a few days post op with a sleeve period. You would split a staple line.

As long as you have paperwork stating that you were to be given a gastric sleeve, it seems like a green light for a suit. Get a second opinion from another doctor ASAP. And if they say that it looks like nothing was done then consult an attorney.

Your surgeon actually said you "stretched your POUCH"?! That verbiage?

Something is so very wrong somewhere.

No need to explain anything. I was sleeved 12-12-12 (actually got it tatted on my ankle) I have no need to lie. Mater of fact I'm just going to stop posting and get everything in writing and go from there. Thanks again everyone and I will most def keep the ones that seem generally interested in this topic.

Im going to bed now.

I am totally with you on this, something just ISN"T right with this. I have to say there is her side the MD's side and someone is not telling the truth. we have heard her side, we won't hear the MD's side. People telling her to sue and how this is malpractice are not objective, and believing her based on a lack of any real evidence. Something about this is SOOOOO OFF.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
