Had turkey chilli last night stage 4

Recommended Posts

Last night I had a little chilli with a very small piece of cheese to avoid acid reflux. It went down fine. No pains. After about 5 minutes later it all came back up.

Today I baked fish. It didnt feel so good going down my stomach made so many noises but wasnt exactly painful.

I forget the part about reintroduceing foods. How do u introduce foods? By eating them multiple times? Why did I barf up the chilli that went down smooth but not the fish that was uncomfortable to eat.

I guess that my stomach had too many different foods at once. Turkey meat, Beans, tomatoe, cheese, and onions. That may have caused the puke

May because

What I was told about reintroducing new foods is start slow take a bite then wait a couple minutes to see how it goes. If you have a problem with a food wait at least a week before trying it again. Hope that helps, Good Luck.

My stomach cannot handle the tomatoes of any kind due to the acid i guess. Refried Beans and just a small bit of salsa mild and its a no go for me. The taco Soup is great but not the tomatoes in rotel. I am stuck on cottage cheese and yogurt refried beans plain. Was doing string cheese but with my bad BM thing i am giving that a rest

Sounds like you might have overeaten on the chili *because* it was going down easily. It takes a while for the body to register that we're full, which is why they tell us to take small bites and eat slow. For me, the less "solid" something is, the more of it I can eat before my body goes "oh yeah, I was done about 5 bites ago..." solid food always fills me up much better. Make sure you're measuring out what you eat initially. We're so used to eating whatever we want, whenever we want that the idea of just how small our stomach really is now can take some getting used to.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
