OMG!!!! I am at urgent care right now freaking out because I don't want my date pushed back either. I am going to see my surgeon for my pre-op orders and diet so I hope I feel better tomorrow.

I hope you feel better & there are no changes on your surgery plans.

I will pray that all goes well.

I am getting a Z-pak!!!

I got my Date!!!!! March 12. OMG!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!

March 5th is just a day away. Super excited' date=' My surgery is scheduled for 6:30am in Decatur with Dr. Scott Stowers. I made it thru a week of liquids and today has been great, I have had mixed berry clear Gatorade, Water and 12oz of sweet tea. Surgeon said if blood sugar dropped today that it was okay to drink sweet tea ??de1cI weighed in during pre-op and I've lost 19.4 pounds in 1 week on the liquids awesome. Is like to drop the last .6 by tomorrow morning reaching my goal of 20 pounds preop. Prayers for everyone getting sleeved and the beginning of a wonderful journey.[/quote']

I am scheduled March 19th with Dr. Stowers in Decatur.. I'm excited and so very nervous. Hope everything goes well for you! Ill keep you in prayer...

Hope everyone whose has surgery is doing GREAT!!! As for the rest of us... we are one day closer!!! YAAAA!!!!

I have been drinking Propel flavored (non carbonated) Water. You can get it by the case at Sams Club and in the case it has 3 flavors' date=' like berry, grape, etc. BUT, it's not red or purple, it's clear, so it's perfect for the 3 days before and the first week after, not to mention a good way to get down 64 oz of fluids daily. Tastes fairly good, especially if very cold, so use some ice. It's very refreshing, too.[/quote']

I've never been a water fan, so I carry around little packets to flavor water. They are calorie free and help me get my water in. I have a bubba cup so I can keep track of my intake.

I hope this helps.

Hi! I'm scheduled for March 25, and saw my surgeon today to discuss questions. I didn't really have any because I have researched a lot. I am SO excited!

Tomorrow is my BIG DAY!! Please pray for me. I am in Atlanta!! See y'all on the other side...NEW LIFE!!

I really can't wait for it March sixth please come soon!!!

I'm sitting here just imagining my new life and I can't even handle it!!!

Well' date=' I'm in the Raleigh area but I'm a March 18th sleever too! Considering how awesomely global this forum is, we're practically neighbors! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />[/quote']

I am in Durham but having my surgery in Raleigh. Monday is my nutrition class and I hope to have approval and surgery by the end of the month.

March 18! I'm so excited. It finally hit me today when I started the two week liquid protein powder. So far so good ..... but it's only day 1. Lol

I'm scheduled for the 26th. I start liquids on the 12th. Getting excited and nervous!!

The day I started my preop diet I also got sick. It has been 15 days and I'm still sick!!! My sis in law is going to school to be a N.D. So I got lots of suggestions from her and everyone else I know. I have done it all!!! Here is the list of things I've been doing

1. 1000 vitamin C daily

2. Gargle with 1cup warm water and 1/4 tsp salt 3-4 times daily

3. Saline nasal spray or netty pot

4. Lots of liquid!!! Hydrate

5. Airborne

6. Steep real ginger in boiling water for 30 minutes add honey and drink.

7. Rest

8. "Throat Coat" tea. It tastes amazing!!! And is supposed to be good for sore throats!

I hope this helps. I have been freaking out as well. My fever' date=' cough, congestion all went away about a week ago. So I'm good for surgery. My sore throat is lingering. My family doctor said this virus is really sticking around in people.

[/quote']

I just got over mine and yesterday I started again with a cough! :( I have two weeks left but I'm still worried! This year it the virus is stilling around and coming back for a double attack on most people...

Thanks for the tips! Feel better all!
