  4. 5 days post op, fluids/protein going down well. My issue is first pain shooting across my shoulders every now and then. Today I have constant pain in my left shoulder, using a heating pad but the pain is not subsiding. Any suggestions?

  6. I am 4 days post op and I have a 4 y.o. as well and I told her prior to the surgery that I was having surgery so I could be healthier. So she knew beforehand, now I have to keep reminding her to not put her weight on my belly when she's moving around but she understands and she hugs me gently too.
  7. I was sleeved yesterday everything went well, he had to repair a hernia. Plan on getting up every 2 hours to walk around hospital floor. Good luck March 6 sleever.

  19. March 5th sleever here....my pre-op appointment with the Anesthesiologist and Dr. Richard is scheduled for Friday, I will be the first patient on the 5th....right now I am on day one of my 2 week pre-op diet and I am hungry!!! Please I need some encouragement.

  21. My insurance approved my surgery on yesterday. It was really quick. Trying to get into a regular exercise routine. How is everyone doing with this?
  22. I already drink a lot of water so I have to learn to sip instead of gulp and not to eat during meals.
  23. I am a March 5th sleever too! I am in Atlanta. What changes if any have you all started to make in preparation for surgery. I am scheduled to go on my preoperative diet on 2/19.

  26. Sounds like you need to find a new surgeon. You need someone who encouraging but honest, I wouldn't comfortable being in his care.
  27. I am new to vst, my surgery is schedued for march 5 so i am in the midst of getting paperwork together.
