I was seriously bumming, because both LBT and my other online hangout were down at the same time. I had to *gasp* actually WORK at work! It was horrible... :faint: :) :faint:

Because I am not "computer literate", I figured I was doing something wrong!! I even began reconfiguring my settings!! Thank goodness I was able to re-set everything back... but REALLY--I was going crazy without this group! Only a few days away from my Band Date, and I was afraid to lose you guys!! Thank you for coming back!!!:clap2:

I ventured over to two other discussion boards, but they were just too big and overwhelming. Very glad this one is back.

Has anyone noticed anything different now that we are up and running? I always got emails telling me if there was a new post on a thread I was on. Now I get nothing. I was getting the feeling that all threads stop after I post on them!! I have checked my settings and everything appears to be OK. Is that happening to anyone else?? Help!

Karen, same thing here. I guess we might need to reset our settings.

I tried that, everything is as it should be, but still no notification emails. :cry This is upsetting!! But at least we have our site back!

Are you getting really excited?? You have a lot to do as well as prepare for! You have a trip, a hospital stay, and then a week at your Mom's. Can you pack that much clothing??

Only a few more days until we are banded!! Are your bags packed?

Karen

I have been so busy, I never even knew it was down. But, the big meeting I have spent a month preparing for is finally over and my schedule is back to normal, thank goodness. You can probably tell because I have been doing a lot of posting today.

Took up knitting/crocheting for charity. Kept/keeps me busy and very rewarding. Check out the website below, if interested.

I am really new to the site, and even I was already worried.

It is so easy to get addicted to this place.

You're right. It is nice, small, and friendly. Much easier to wade through than the other sites I've seen. I love reading everything. I feel like I am going to be super prepared when my surgery date comes around. You are all very informative.

Glad you're all back! I can breathe a sigh of relief now.

Hey, I might take you up on that. I've been thinking about doing some kind of needlework in the evenings while watching TV, just to keep me from snacking. I don't have much faith, though, in my ability to produce anything wearable! I guess I could at least make the little afghan squares.

Thanks for the idea!

Tami

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
