Yesterday was amazing! A couple years ago I couldn't walk up the trail to see Yosemite falls' date=' and yesterday I was able to climb rocks and feel the mist on my face! Do not regrets my decision at all!

I love hearing the NON scale victories the most. This is a great story.

Anyone considering trying liquids for a few days to jump start things or does that even actually help? Don't want to loose after just to gain it back lol... What do you guys think?

I think some people have done it. I haven't done it, but how could it hurt? Nothing ventured, nothing gained (or lost as the case may be....)

Don't get me wrong I'm excited at the success ive made but my goal is 160 perfectly I would like to see 140 but here lately now that I've gotten off a 100lb I'm starting to worry that I won't see either of those numbers :/

I know what you mean. When you have so much to lose, it does sometimes feel a little impossible. However, I'm still shooting for that, doing everything we are supposed to do, so time will tell. The weight is coming off slower now, and that's disappointing, but as long as it keeps coming off, we can get there!

Today I decided to get B-12 shots weekly to see if my energy gets better.

How many calories do you eat? I find that I just can't function on the recomended 600-800 calories a day. I need at least 900-1000, or I'm just fatigued and foggy. I'm not hungry, just dragging. As long as I stay around 900-1100 and exercise regularly, I feel pretty darn good. I keep telling my husband I'm the only person I know who is getting younger instead of older ;)

I am allowed 600 calories a day, my doctor is very strict! I was feeling pretty good until a few weeks ago, the b-12 shot helped today, I will see how I do with the weekly shots.

I don't know how you do it on 600 calories (still). I know I would not be functioning if that is all I could eat. I really hope the B-12 helps, but if it doesn't get you over this hump, in spite of what your doctor believes, you may need to up your calories a little.

Yeah, 600 calories is not much. I know my doc would like me to be at 600-800, too. I just can't function on that. I do fine at 900-1100, but try to stay in the 900 range. I tried a few weeks ago to cut back to 700-800, and I found that I could barely make it up the steps in the morning at work, and I actually didn't lose anything for a couple of weeks when I did that. For me, I just find it's not helpful. I applaud you for being able to do it, I know lots of people do and are fine with it, just not me.

I was sleeved 13/12/12 and I've lost only about 40-45 lbs so far. I am jumping around from 175-180 for the last month and a half now. Has anyone been in the same range for such a long time?! I also have been having quick, sharp pains in my left abdomen and ribs the last few days. Has anyone else experienced that??

I had surgery 12/27/2012 and I am only down 45 pounds also, it is really upsetting for me because my doctor's nurse keeps telling me I should be losing more. It is making me feel like I am doing something wrong, when I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. I don't know what the problem is. I am very frustrated...I only lose 4 - 5 pounds a month and it sucks.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
