I've had 2 csections my latest being 17 months ago. This surgery is a piece of cake.. all my nurses kept commenting. "Wow ur doing really well" I was like this is nothing compared to a cesarean! !!

Right on! My last c section was 14 months ago but by the time surgery is here it will be 16 months. I'm glad it was so easy for you, im hoping it will be for me too since my cesareans werent a problem.

I had 2 csections. My last one was 7 weeks before being sleeved. To me, the sleeve was worse. My csections were no problem and people were shocked that I had just had a baby. But I had no complications. I just had to care for a 7 week old when I got home.

What made your sleeve worse for you?

Three c- sections - last one was January 2012, sleeved November 2012 - no problems at all. Sleeve is much easier than section - sore for around 4-6 days post sleeve, then good to go!

It was more painful to me. The gas pains were horrible, I had stitches which were a pain, and the drain was icky to me haha. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

For me both the c section and the sleeve were comparible pain wise. I had a pretty easy recovery with my c section and was out of bed the next morning. Same with the sleeve. I did however have terrible nausea with the sleeve.

I didn't have a drain or stitches - had glue. Glad I did and that may be the difference. I also had gas but it didn't really get built up because I was burping like crazy. Very ladylike and sexy :)

Oh I didn't have drains and i had staples.. gas was terrible but it was in my chest.. it passed rather quickly. But overall pain when waking up from recovery. I can honestly say not bad. I hate to say this but I only used the morphine to quickly fall asleep not for the pain.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
