Oh, anbd back to Dr. Phil's House of Duh, only watch it if you want to see yet another made up freak show. It's kind of like verbal professional wrestling.

This is true. He was the youngest mayor ever of Cincinnati.

And how did he lose his job as a fairly popular mayor of Cincinnati? :)

Get ready -

Mayor Jerry lost his job as mayor (was forced to resign) due to his affinity for utilizing the services of call girls. :omg:

But wait!

Nope, he didn't get booted for that.

He patronized call girls and paid by check. The checks bore his real name.

Nope, he didn't get booted for that EITHER.

He patronized call girls and paid by check and the check bounced.:heh:

The call girl sued him for 'non-payment of check' and he was forced to resign.

Now THAT is a great story, but it's absolutely, positively true.

He really is an intelligent, and fairly sensitive man in actuality, but his political career has been sidelined by that hilariously bad case of judgement.

Ah, well... we're all human, right? :nervous

According to Wikipedia: Springer was elected to the Cincinnati city council in 1971. He was forced to resign in 1974 after admitting to hiring a prostitute. The episode was uncovered when a police raid on a Fort Wright, Kentucky "massage parlor" unearthed a check Jerry Springer had written for its "services". Jerry Springer came clean at a press conference. His honesty helped him win back his seat in 1975. In 1977, he was chosen to serve one year as mayor by the City Council.

Either way; it is a great story.

As Don King would say, "Only in America".

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
