December 5, 201213 yr Whatever type of ice cream you get, I suggest buying child size prepackaged containers because ice cream is the textbook definition of a slider food. The average sleeve isn't going to feel much restriction eating it.
December 5, 201213 yr I'm glad I am now lactose intolerant cause I LOVED me some ice cream pre sleeve. Now it hurts my tummy bad!
December 5, 201213 yr & shayv123 I'm 8 months post op. I started having frozen yogurt at 1 month post op, then switched to regular ice cream at about 3 months post op.
December 6, 201213 yr I eat regular ice cream as well. A small childs size is enough. I no longer need the triple size sundae. My surgery was July 2011. Im the worst sweet eater ever but with the sleeve its easier to just eat a little and push it away. One oreo, no problem, one ice cream sandwich, no worries. Its all about portion control.
December 6, 201213 yr I used to really enjoy ice cream and milkshakes presleeve, but now- not so much. I don't Know what it is but I don't like it nearly as much. Oddly, my head still tells me that I want it. The last time I tried to get a milkshake I ended up pawning it off on my son. Old habits r hard to break I guess. Sent from my iPhone using VST
