Plz help me on knowing more about sleeve strech

Sent from my iPad using VST

The sleeve doesn't stretch, it just relaxes. The difference is what you put in it. You still have to make good choices by eating low fat foods, eating Protein first, not eating sugar or fried foods, not eating too much. Weighing or otherwise measuring your food is a good idea if you aren't sure about Portion Control.< /p>

Yashi, are you sleeved? If so, did you not research the sleeve and how it works prior to doing so? I am concerned because you post like you are sleeved, but do not sound very informed about the process.

I would say that to "shrink" the stomach (if in fact it did stretch, or is even capable of stretching!) go back to a Pre-op diet: 2 Protein Shakes a day and one lean and green meal. No fats. No carbs. No sugar. I am 7 weeks post-op and am cleared for everything except bread. I had some crackers with my tuna for the first time (I've had no bread, crackers, Pasta, rice since August) and I can honestly say those stinking 12 Special K crackers were delish but they stirred up my carb cravings big time! No more fir me if I want to keep losing like I have. Moral to this story...listen to your body!! We've put it so much-we need to be better listeners to learn how to keep on track and stay healthy...no vomiting, no over-eating. It's soooo hard, I know! But we can do this the right way-doing no more harm! Peace!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
