All Nov 19 Sleevers!

Recommended Posts

Hey nov 19th girls! How is everyone making out?!? I hope well. I am doing really well and am so so happy that I made this excellent, life-changing decision. Those first couple days post-op, i had my doubts. However, to get on the scale and LOSE weight every time instead of gaining- it is truly a dream come true to me. My highest weight was 296 on november 4th, right before I started my pre-op diet. Today I weighed in at 251. This is the lightest I've been in a while and cant wait to continue to lose. My goal by my 24th bday on June 11th is to be in one-derland! Even 199 will do :) looking forward to the 6-week post op mark where my surgeon has cleared me to hit the gym for some spinning classes! Ladies- please share where u are and any upcoming goals or other fun things with me :)

hey have a great time x

bet this will be your first time loosing weight on a vacation !

let us know how you get on x

Had a great time on vacation! There were so many food options that I was able to stay on soft foods (mostly, i had a couple slip ups). I did work out on the ship and stayed very active. At night I slept like a log with the rocking of the ship. A few times I felt a little exhausted and took mid day naps. I did not want to come home! :(

Hi everyone. Wish I had found this site before I had my surgery which was Nov. 20th in Tijuana, Mexico. I was very scared to be going to a foreigh country for the surgery but everything worked out o.k. The only complication I had was feeling very sick after surgery and I also had a terrible headache. I live in Ontario, Canada so the flight was long - 6 hours plus waiting times at different airports. I am done 16 lbs so far and this has been the first week I have actually felt close to normal. What Vitamins (B12, Iron, etc.) is everyone taking. Thanks for letting me in the group even though I am the 20th.

It sounds like everyone is doing really awesome. To answer your Vitamin question- I take 1 Multivitamin twice a day and 1 500mg calcium citrate three times a day when I'm behaving myself. They are all chewable, and are Bariatric Advantage brand.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
