I use straws all the time with no problem. Give it a try! I always have a glass of water in hand with a straw. :)

My doc and nut both said that straws are "a good tool".

I started using a straw a few months ago...I love a straw. I don't think it is doing anything. I still sip. I tend to drink more gulps when I don't use a straw.
