Onederland!

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on Jan 25 2011. I started at 340 lbs. I have now reached the one hundreds! I was wearing a size 28 to a 30/32 and now am wearing size med tops and large bottoms. My current weight is 196. I no im barely in the "one hundreds" but it is so exciting I never thought I would of made it this far. My doc would never discuss a goal weight he would only talk in % of excess body weight. I still have a couple months till I'm a year hoping to reach 175

WOW. your "before" sounds a lot like me. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm pre-op and just starting my VSG journey... I'm so afraid of getting stuck at 230 since I haven't been able to get below 230 in over 20 years.

I hit onederland a few weeks ago. Had not been in the 100's for 44 years. Yes I said 44 yrs. amazing for me. I never dreamed that I would ever be this weight again. I went from a 24 to a 16 now. Still can't wrap my brain around this. Hardly ever hungry and can not eat that much at all even after 8 months. It is coming off very slowly but still dropping.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
