Hi! I'm in education too! My date is dec 17th. One more week!!!!! Eeek! Ill have about 3 weeks to recover, I'm hopeful everything will go smoothly! Where are you having ur surgery?

Thank you Best of luck to you also are you on a 2 week liquid diet right now? I am for the past week in a half its going ok there is times when Im just so hungry but ive maneged to make it through !

I know I'm one big ball of nerves I'm excited and scrared all at once! Im getting sleeved in springfield mo where is your surgery at? Best of luck to you and how's the liquid diet going so far if you had to do one? I was sleeved dec 7 2011 on 12/7/12 my weight loss was exactly 150.5 lbs. you can do this guys!!! Good luck and blessings!

Hey girl, don't be nervous, be excited!!!! lol. Easier said than done, i know, I've had those moments of feeling nervous and scared but I know this is the tool that we can use to be successful and healthy for the rest of our lives!!! I'm getting sleeved in Phoenix, AZ. Thank you for the prayers, I need them! I really struggled with the liquid diet this weekend....cheated but only with allowing myself a few bites of lean Protein, so I figure it wasn't too bad as long as I keep my body in the ketosis fat-burning state it's in. Kudos to you for keeping on your liquid diet! Have u experienced any....um....bathroom problems? I feel like I'm going every 30 mins if I don't incorporate a little lean protein every 3-4 days or so.... I agree with the hungry feeling! It will be great to feel satisfied or full after a shake or protein....what exactly is making you the most nervous?

MY school system gets out on the 19th. I am having my surgery at the Atlanta Aesthetic Surgery Center.

      Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
