To be completely honest i have never payed attention to my Protein intake! My calorie intake is usually around 700-1000 calories but i would go to the gym and get on the treadmill and set the incline to the max height position and speed to 4.0 and walk until i burned all the calories i ate and then some! Usually 60 minutes would burn around 1400 calories. The treadmill is the secret if you do just what i said.

I had my surgery two months ago today. I feel amazing. I have lost 42lbs. I feel amazing.

Hi, I had my surgery on 8/27 tooooo!! I don't weigh very often, numbers on the scale can really piss me off, one day I've lost nothing, the next day 6 lb's gone. So I pretty much use my clothes to know I am shrinking. I know I have lost at least 38 lbs. of course I want more but now that you point out it has only been two months, sounds awesome. I am 70 lb's from goal, how about you? What kinds of exercise do you do? I am a walker and Water aerobics, planning on getting to a gym real soon.

Walking is the best and when you're strong enough then jogging, running, biking, dancing, climbing, lifting, etc :) and every enjoyable sport you want :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
