I am only 10 days post op but find it so funny to have so many leftovers. I am in shock that i can only eat half or less of a Jello or pudding cup. Before i could eat all four or six in a package. I don't think i will ever finish my can of refried Beans.< /p>

I completely understand. It is so weird to have to put half a yogurt cup back in the fridge.

It is a huge eye opener when you go to your favorite restaurant and order something you used too then you eat a fraction of it! Makes me feel good and reminds me it's working!

I haven't been to a restaurant yet, but I am sure that it is an eye opener!

I have a feeling that I will be sharing with my 3 year old when I eat out! I would have never imagined that would be possible! lol

Last night Hubbster and I went to El Torito. We ordered one fajita entree and I had a little bit of the chicken. We were both stuffed and still had leftovers.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
