Nervous?! What happened to excited?! lol You will do great! And as Holly above mentioned you have us all here for support if you need it as well as prayers.

Have you started your pre-op diet yet, or did you have one?

No, haven't started my ore op diet, they told me to start that when I have a week to go. I guess I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Being a nurse I guess I have a different insight about my hospital stay. I know that things sometimes go wrong and I don't want to be a statistic. I have requested a certain anesthesiologist for my care, I have done my research on my surgeon. What I can't control is the nursing staff and my outcome. I guess that's what I'm nervous about. I'm also concerned about the pain aspect, the catheter, and my recovery time. What I am excited about is starting this new path to being healthy and more active. I just got my call from the hospital this afternoon. I have to be there Monday morning at 6:30am. I am the first of the day!
