So far, I've had only shakes and just yesterday I tried yogurt. Nothing else. I need to live a little! lol

I have EAS ready to drink shakes in vanilla and I also have Syntrax Nectar. I am waiting on a mail order to come in so I can have a little more variety. Only 2 boring flavors for now! lol I tried the EAS strawberry also and they taste like strawberry quick to me. pretty good!

Just experiment on ur meals. What kind of shake do u have? I need some new ideas...

Some ideas to try with Protein shakes ... Mix with SF pudding, Greek yogurt (plain preferred), Kroger carb master yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, SF cool whip, SF syrups (davinci or torani), SF Creamer. Some docs and NUT allow fruit (berries preferred because they are lower in sugar than other fruit) and if they do allow it, you'll need to mix with Water rather than milk. Also adding ice and blending seems to make a world difference!!

I have tried quite a few different Proteins brands and flavors and have found that I like to use unflavored Protein so I can mix it up with all the things I mentioned above. Happy experimenting!

Hey chunkychick...welcome to the Losers team. Sounds like you are doing well. I had surgery 6 months ago and am feeling great, losing slower now but not gaining, and that was the old life...I could lose but always gained it back.

Soft/pureed food...let's see, refried Beans with melted cheese, crock pot meals, mashed potatoes with canned chicken and chicken gravy, tuna fish, yogurt, cottage cheese with canned fruit, soft scrambled eggs, SF pudding, Soups, ricotta bake (layers of marinara, ricotta cheese and motzarella baked in a ramekin) hot Cereal.

I do weigh myself but I don't obsess, it comes off when your body is ready to release the weight, just stay focused and you'll have success!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
