My surgery date was 10/9, I ate chicken broth, drank Fuze Slenderize, lots of Water, sf popsicles, Jello, etc. I advanced to creamy Soups yesterday and ate an oz of instant mashed potatoes. Everything seems to be going down fine. I haven't had any nausea from foods. But, if I feel the urge to use the bathroom and I don't go right away, I get extremely nauseated....its very weird.

I'm still on a liquid diet too, sleeved on 10/11/12. I try to mix it up daily so I don't get bored. I do different types of Protein Shakes, Soups, sugar free pudding with Protein Powder, Protein Shots and crystal light.

I was on Clear Liquids for a week. Now I am on "creamy" liquids and runny "mushies" for another week (I cheated with the mashed potatoes). Next week I start "mushies" for 2 weeks.

My 2 week post-op appt is next Tuesday and I'm hoping everything is going as good inside as it feels like it is.

I called my doctor's office today about the bowel movement issue. They said to take to Benefiber. I did and it WORKED. I put it in my Water. It was cherry pomegranate.

I wish I read this post earlier today! I'm tentative to take something that may upset my stomach, so I had baby food-pureed prunes with applesauce with lunch hoping that would help. So far, nada! I also bought Fiber gummies, recommended on another thread and ate 2. Let's see what tomorrow brings...

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
