Bad idea on the 66th day. Feels bad in my tummy. Wish I could undo that.

Oh no so sorry. Sometimes it is a good idea to find out what does not agree with you so you won't have it again.

Liked you post not to say "haha" but to say yup! been there! But it is a learning process.

New foods in extreme moderation quickly became one of my top 10 rules.

My Dad smoked until I was born and then switched to chewing tobacco. When my brothers and I were young, under 10 years old, he made (allowed, in his words) us all try a pinch of snuff. After throwing up for a good fifteen minutes, none of us have ever touched a tobacco product to this day. A little pain at the beginning taught us a valuable life lesson. The same applies here.

The moral of the story is: you can make your kids do anything which is why being a parent is so wicked awesome.

So sorry! Do you have a Trader Joe's in your area? They sell containers of the tiniest Peanut Butter cups - they are less than an inch small - maybe a half an inch? Might be worth trying just one in the future.

Peanut Butter Cups are evil! LOL I've done this and at 1 year I still have difficulties with my stomach. I need to work on not trying them again. I love my body..... :)

If only..... I wish that something would make me feel bad. I seem to have a cast Iron sleeve. Nothing bothers me. This means that I have to be extra vigilant about what I put in my mouth.

Be grateful that your new tool is working overtime to keep you on the straight & narrow.

Me too! I get an occasional twang in my stomach from eating something new but typically not.

I was sleeved on June 18 and I still can't eat anything with sugar in it! Before my surgery I had a sweet tooth as big as my head and I swear my surgeon pulled it when I was asleep!

I hope I'm like you. I'm 6 weeks out and don't dare try any sweets for fear they will sit well with me. Knowing my luck I'll be able to stomach anything. I've always had an Iron gut.

6 months out and can eat ANYTHING except dry chicken breast and doughy rolls. Have estes small amounts of all kinds of crap. The good news is 1-2 bites and I am done!

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
