Hi everyone hope you all are losing. As for me current weight is 239 (starting 256). Hurricane sandy displace me from my house so it has been hard to eat "good". Been eating carbs here and there. hoping to be home soon to get my life back to normal.

Surgery on 9.28 at 225. Today's 208 and stalled for a couple days. It's hard to see stalling when our caloric intake is so low!

So true.

I'm doing ok. Stalled at about 40 lb loss in total. Was having a hard time getting food down' date=' but if I eat slowly much better. On phase 3 which is supposed to be puréed but I mainly east soft food and do ok. Don't think I'm getting enough protein so will add some of those delicious protein shakes (yuck). Need to also start walking. The 40 lbs off fell great. easier to walk, clothing is looser and sleeping better.

How are you doing?[/quote']

I stalled at 40 lb loss too for over three weeks and frustrated.

surgery 9/21 weight 267, now at 238 stalled

Surgery 9/10. 40 pounds lost (includes 9 lost during pre-op diet). Tired of eating the same old things but I really don't enjoy cooking for just me and my fiance doesn't really care for the same things I do........

Thank you all for posting. I started at 345 and was 337 when surgery was approved. Down to 323 after 2 weeks of liquids. I lost 10 pounds my first 17 days post-op. I was walking 2 times a day 1 mile and 2 miles. On my 4 week check up I was the same---no weight loss. Soooooo discouraged. I am now walking 2 miles a day with 5 burst of slow jog ( trying to extend each day) and have noticed recovery time for breathing is getting shorter. Haven't weighed again but planning to on Monday. My doctor told me that stall was okay. It helps so much to know that I am not alone and a lot of people are stalling but keep in keeping on. I was sleeved on September 24. I just want to reach my first goal of below 300. It's a marathon not a sprint! My new mantra.

First consultation I was 254

Day of surgery 9/26/12 244lb

Today 226

Total loss 28lb

We had surgery on the same day and have lost almost exactly the same number of pounds.

Surgery date 9-12, weight 325

Todays date 10-6 weight 290.

It will be 8 weeks tomorrow and I have been at almost a 2 week stall. This sucks!!!!

We had surgery on the same day and have lost almost exactly the same number of pounds.

To cool I'm 5"6 mother of 3 :) lmao I'm 225 now I'm in another stall like my 2nd one :( 5 or 6 days at 225

Okay. so here is the wildest thing. I went to my doctor on October 25 (4 weeks post op) had not lost any weight in 2 weeks. Sooooo disappointed. Went home and continued to walk (2 miles with 5 intervals of slooooow jogging) and watch water and protein. This Monday, November 5th, I weighed before working out (now working out about 1 hour before work 30 mins cardio and 20 minutes weights) was down from 313 to 296! I didn't believe it. Got off scales and got back on same results. I asked if scale was right and lady said they weighed her right, maybe even a little heavy. Not sure what happened but am going with it. Sleeved 9/24 and now down total of 49lbs, 27 lbs since surgery. Sooooo happy but still don't know what the heck happened. lol
