Cancer Awareness Month Support Needed

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies,

I have a friend who has cancer, she is going so broke because of medical bills, loosing her house in a few :(

She sent me a link to her online tupperware party to make money.

I clicked on the sale section, and there are cute small pink tuppers, I thought of you all because well, when we pack our lunches to work, we need smaller containers lol.

There are alot small cute containers... most of all, PINK!!!

If any of you would like to help out my friend Marissa or if you need tupperware please buy from her :) The small pink containers are on sale for $5.00 I think it's a set of 4? not sure, but there are others to choose from, they have a great sale right now.

Thanx in advance!

I will peak around and buy something, I owe my mother some tupperware from when I was younger and I gave it away with halloween candy lol. I send prayers to your friend and hope she gets better. My mother is a surrivor of Breast and Cervical cancer so I totally understand what she is going through as well as you. Kudos to you for being a super great friend!! :)

oh my :) your reply made me get teary eyed! Thank you for your support. Yes it is a rough thing to go through. My grandma passed away from breast cancer some years ago :( it was rough ... the whole thing :( my poor grandma :( my father in law recently passed away from cancer.... a good friend of mine has cancer, returned for the 3rd time!!! She is not doing well :( I have another friend about my age 32yrs old, passed away from cervical cancer :( right now I am also helping my other friend from church who is going through cervical cancer, we are doing benefits through the church.... I work in a big hospital, and I am a very caring person, I take care of my patients to the point where sometimes its too much and want to do something else, it's too sad for me :( So I try and help out whenever I can. I hate cancer!!!! I truly hate it!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
