ShapeShifter:

What liquid multi do you use? I need to find one that is tolerable.

Thanks!

I am so glad I read all theses comments I have been so worried because I haven't lost any weight since I started on soft Proteins two weeks ago. I was sleeved on 8/27 and lost a pound a day until I started eating solids. I haven't lost anything since. I thought I was doing something wrong but it seems this is normal.

I was sleeved on 8/02. Down 25 pounds and I feel so good. Just started adding in real foods to my soft foods. Have not tried too many things yet, but I am looking forward to being able to have more variety :) Still struggling with fluids, have never gotten in near 64 oz. Working on doing that each day. Some days it is hard to eat, my stomach is picky about some foods, others it really likes. I can usually tell after one or two bites if I need to stop eating and find something else. It always surprises me at some of the things it does not like yet.

Started at 233 DOS 8/30 & down to 210 for total loss of 23 lbs...of course 10 of that at least is Water weight but I feel great anyway! Those who I've talked to say they hit there goals anywhere between 8 to 12 months do dropping 23 in 2 1/2 weeks is well on my way to total goal of losing 83 lbs...now I only have 60 to go. Woo hoo! Still on purée but not getting down much been busy & forgetting to eat or drink (which I NEVER would have forgotten to eat before lol) I don't notice till I start feeling weak or get dry mouth...sick of Protein Shakes yuck. Yesterday I had a yogurt & glass of water & a flintstone Vitamin. Thinking of getting a juicer & getting a good portion of my nutrition that way. Gonna try scrambled eggs this next week...sounds really good to me :) Don't want my hair to fall out

I was sleeved on August 16. At four weeks out I was down 40 pounds. This is including my 3 day pre op diet where I lost 13 pounds. I weigh on Thursday and I'm hoping to be down an additional 5 pounds at least.

Great job you guys!

Hey. I was sleeved 8-22. As of last Wednesday, 3 weeks post-op, I was down 31 pounds, including my two week per-op diet. I gained like 10 lbs during my hospital stay and it took a while to get rid of all the Fluid, but I hope I'm on a steady losing track. Finding it hard to get my exercising and Vitamins in.

Sleeved 8/2. Pre-op diet started at 350. Lost 17 on pre-op, down 33 since surgery for a total of 50. This Thursday will be 7 weeks. Just in the last week I have been able to take more Water in, like a regular size drink, which is so nice, but I still have super dry mouth all the time! I'm on regular food, but stick to all high Protein foods...eggs, cottage cheese, protien shakes, chicken breast, turkey, soft cheeses, steamed veggies with sprinkled cheese...I can eat bread with a sandwich but only a few bites.

My tummy can not handle ANY raw veggies or salad. For the people struggling with weight, switching things up has helped my stalls....eat 2 days higher carbs and then 2 days lower (no more than 20 grams) carbs...this keeps your body burning :). I have not been exercising but I REALLY need to start...I'm starting to notice soft skin :(. Good luck to all!!!!

Today I'm 4 weeks out. Surgery was 8/21. I'd have to look up what I was at certain times because I really don't remember! I just know i'm losing. It's sporatic, but it's working.

First weight in June 2012: 253

Today's weight: 212

I lost about 30 preop, BUT I would not have lost that amount w/o pre-op counseling from surgeon, NUT and Physce. So for ME, it's all inclusive and I consider the sleeve a success starting in June, not just the day of surgery. :-)

Hello all, I was sleeved on Aug 21st and I am down 33 lbs. I hit a stall for a week and then I went back to the liquid diet for 2 days and lost 3 lbs. I am very happy. I started at 288.8 and now I'm 256 can't wait until I'm 240. My goal for the Halloween contest was 249 but I'm going to change that to 240 maybe 239.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
