A nurse by profession and engaged but no kids. With my history of PCOS kids will come after I drop the weight. Starting weight: 280lbs Current Weight: 275 and losing everyday!!

October 5th. I'm on a high protein modified Atkins diet and I only have to do a 3 day liquid diet.

Hey I think I recognize you from the support fb page. When did you have your surgery? I'm super excited. Scared about the aftermath though. Do you get good pain meds and naseau meds in the hospital? I'm self pay so I'm nervous they will treat me different and just give me the basics since United Healthcare isn't footing any of the bill. That's probably stupid to think but it has crossed my mind. When did you go back to work? I'm hoping I can return the following Monday......

Hello- October 18!!! Still waiting for final ins approval, but I am not too worried about that. Also, I have to see a dermatologist for some thing they found in my throat. So excited!

I'm 47, I'm having some food funerals, and hope to loose about 10-15 lbs by my surgery date.

No doubt, although I put a countdown app on my phone.... Just over a month is really not that far. I start preop in three weeks!

The countdown made it seem more real.
