Ninja, Bullet, Blender Or Food Processor?

Recommended Posts

I just told my husband that blender what I used for our kids would be working for me now :)

I LOVE my blender:

Miallegro 9090 Mitutto 550-Watt Immersion Hand Blender

I used this blender for almost 7 years already (change 3 of them )

I am using it in kitchen very often. and now I will use it for my puree after the surgery.

It allow you to do single portion and you can do 3-4 of them. very powerful ( 550watt) with turbo button. it can make chicken meat very puffy and delicious.

I looked at the Ninja at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with the 20% off coupon but found the ninja to be cheaper at Walmart then at BBandB with the coupon.

I priced mine too, but happened to catch it on sale at bed, bath, and beyond and got about $60 off in the end. So for me catching the sale and having to coupon made it cheaper than walmart or target.

I have a nice little bullet but it sucks when it comes to ice! I need something that can nicely blend up a smoothie with some ice. It makes them taste so much better, in my opinion. What do you guys use for ice crushing or finer grating?

I use my Ninja for everything, ice crushing (it makes snow if you run it long enough), blending, juicing, and food processing.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
