You look awesome!! Do you have any excess skin that was or will be removed? Ultimately, I want to lose 130 to 150 pounds and I am afraid that will leave a LOT of excess skin to deal with....I am currently 328 and 5'8...waiting for approval from my insurance company....just waiting and waiting......lol

Yes I have excess skin on my tummy that will need professional help and I will be needing a boob job no doubt! But even will all that, I'm still so happy that I took the step to have this surgery, it has made my life so much sweeter!

Here are some more recent "in progress" photos.

Top left corner is exactly 1 year ago @ approx. 250 lbs

Bottom left is this past Friday night - 6.5 months after surgery - @ 185.8 lbs

Right side is this past Sunday, my 43rd birthday - 6.5 months after surgery - @ 181.8 lbs (72.2 lbs lost) & officially just "overweight"!

Here's an early update. I'm still just 9 weeks out but I'm loving my results so far. Trying to remain active and exercise. In tracking everything on MFP. I wish I could get my carb intake down more and my Protein intake up but this is truly a learning process. The first picture is a week before surgery 2/2013 and the second pic is last week 5/2013.

It is a learning process & you'll do fine. And you look great!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
