O I was in a stall all of July and part of June, it was hard as I was sleeved may 15th. But today is the day I stepped in the scale and saw I lost 2 pounds over night! Thank god it's over! Now I hope it comes along with 2 pounds a week. I am loving my new me. I feel better and love it when people notice. I've gone from size 22/20 to size 16/14

I'm 18 days out and think I'm already in a stall. I'm getting upset and depressed over it. I keep saying I didn't go through all this just to loose 25 lbs. I still have at least 80 lbs to go. I end up weighing myself 5 to 6 times a day and am making myself crazy. I'm ready to through the scale out the front door. How do you get out of a stall??????

I am 7 months out I have been stalled for 5 weeks. I have concentrated on Water and switching up my exercise routine.

They are hard to go through it but you will get through I promise. Water. Water water water!!!!! Most important. I have bumped mine up to a gallon a day, raised my carbs and calories and just trying to wait patiently. I have lost 90 and have 43 to go.

Tomorrow I will start going to the gym and walk on the treadmill. I have a problem drinking Water. I know I need to drink more. I can barely drink a bottle a day. I will try to be more conscious and drink more.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
