  • Everyday I buy a large water EXTRA ICE from Sonic. Then I drink 1 or 2 Lipton Citrus green Tea Lemonade. Chilled very delicious.

I'm 3 weeks out and am STILL always dying of thirst. I go to Sonic every day and get 2 Route 44 cups of ice and munch on them all day long. It's the only thing that really ever quenches my thirst.

I am very thirsty too! I am recently able to drink more water, so it seems to be getting better.

I am in the same boat...1 week after my surgery and I feel the exact same way...any suggestions would help soooo much

Sugar free snow cone!!!

I know EXACTLY what you're going through. I find that as soon as I wake up and have my meal, I begin to drink. For me, a mini glass of ice cold water helps. My goal is to drink it before it gets warm. Also ice chips will help out tons!!!!!!!!!! What kind of water are you drinking? Certain waters out there don't quench my thirst, like Fiji, Aquafina, Dasani. I love the PUR water purifying system, along with Nestle Life water. They contain certain minerals that will quench your thirst. Also, I am having sugar free popsicles in between my sips. If I leave my home, I take a bottle with ICE water and as soon as it gets warm, I buy more ice. Good luck and keep your chin up.

Oh man I had the worst dry mouth/thirst ever! It has definitely gotten bettter the last couple days, but when I do feel really thirsty I go straight to the popsicles!

who sells that?

I get mine from the local snow cone vendor. Just ask what flavors they have in sugar free.

You may need electrolytes, too. Try some Diet Gatorade (G2) or the Crystal Light sport mix. Those really helped me.

Mio in ice water! My favorite is the mango/peach flavor.
