Got My Sample Pack Of Syntrax Nectar

Got the following:

2 strawberry Kiwi

2 vanilla Bean Torte

2 Cappuccino Latte

3 Fuzzy Navel

1 Caribbean Cooler

Free sample Cappuccino latte which is 1/2 size of normal sample which kinda blows lol

I'm headed to the Dollar Tree where they have individual packs of yohoo sugar free chocolate and strawberry which should be good to add to any powder that doesn't taste great or any unflavored.

Anyway, when I get home I will try probably the cappuccino latte with some sugar free caramel syrup, ice and some unsweetened vanilla almond milk and hopefully have something close to a caramel frappe!

A word of caution' date=' after sleeve surgery, if you are like most.you are going have some changes to your taste likes and dislikes and tolerance to different temps . I would suggest lots of sample sizes and sample again after surgery before ordering large amounts of any thing.[/quote']

That is EXACTLY how I was planning on doing it. Thanks for the tip though.

I just tried the nectar in strawberry sorbet. Pretty decent. I mixed it with 10 ounces fat free milk. My sleeve is July 13th!!

I just ordered some syntrax nectar samples too. I have the unjury and about time samples, just haven't worked up the nerve to try them yet. Has anyone tried the muscle milk?

i have tried 3 different syntrax nectar and neither mixed very well, not even in my personal blender. i had lemonade for lunch today and could not finish it because of the lumps....DISGUSTING!!! i even put my cup back on the blender and blended some more...still had lumps. i used cold bottled water. any tips? has anyone else had this problem?

I had the Cappuccino Latte with Almond milk and ice blended and it blended up Perfectly!!! Was pretty good too. I liked that it was not thick and chalky At all!

^^^are you "pulsing" or straight blending? i don't know what i'm doing wrong. I haven't tried it with milk because the flavors i've tried were fruit flavor and i didn't think milk would mix well with a fruit juice. does that make sense?

Idk what it is lol. I have a personal blender with its own cup, it was $29 at Walmart, made by Oster. It has 1 speed and it was mixed perfectly. I would say to blend it though. And if I were using a fruity one i'd probably just use Water. You could always strain it through a sieve to get clumps out if it's that bad. ? Idk what else to tell you, sorry!

They mix better in room temp liquid. I did not have good luck mixing in cold liquids at all.

^^^BINGO!!!! ok thanks iwannabeslim! i didn't know what it was...lol

thanks everyone, I will trying blending as well as room temp.

I mixed mine with just a spoon and cold milk. Had no lumps at all.

Love the cappuccino flavor - I have the first thing in the morning. It helps the fact that I'm no longer having my coffee. Sometimes I will warm up the milk.

I was sleeved on 01/30/12 and I've been through a lot of protein shakes. I am so glad to have found Syntrex Nextar Sweets. My favorite one is the Chocolate Truffle. I just bought a tub of that one. I also like the vanilla bean torte, and the strawberry. I just do ice, water, and a little powdered chocolate peanut butter I bought from amazon. Its really yummy and I started with the samples from BJsBariatrics. These are the best tasting protein shakes out there.

The EAS Advantage RTD comes in 2 packages the 17 gr protein gives you like 24 cartons; but the 20 gr protein I think gives you 18 cartons. I get mine at Sam's. I also like the premium from Costco - it has 30 gr protein.

Wow! Thank you; I would've never thought to strain the drinks to get rid of the unmixed powder. I am sorta afraid to use the blender because of the "foam"; will it give me gas? Should I like..make it and let it settle in the fridge for a couple of hours?

I also have the personal blender with the cup from Oster. I have one for work and one for home. They come in cool colors (green, blue, orange). I let it run for at least a minute and it makes a slushie. I use the plastic straws that go with the insulated cups with lids and they are yummy. Syntrex necter is the best!
