Ah! Congrats!! Everything is going to be wonderful. It sucks to say, but go in with the notion, yes...I will wake up in some pain, but it will be controlled. And for a few days, it does kind of suck. But it wasn't horrible! Everyone has different stories and I'm so glad mine is a good one (so far, I'm only 5 days post op). It's strange to say but I feel sooo wonderful...Today I weighed myself at the doctor's office since I had an appt (unrelated to my surg) I have lost 10lbs in 5 days. 5 days!!!!!!! Crazy! That's 21lbs since June 8th! That makes the little bit of pain worth it, I'm on my way to being healthier : )

Keep us updated!!!!!!! Good luck! Don't be afraid to push the pain button!

You can do it!!! Don't let the pre-op diet discourage you. It's one of the hardest parts!!!
