I don't think the weekend maintenance had anything to do with old threads at least not that we have been told.

It may have just been updating and adding new features OR testing new features to possibly add at a later time.

In two years I've not heard of threads being deleted UNLESS it was the posters them self doing it.

Ok... DUHHH people. You are missing the picture here. Old threads that no one frequents.... get rid of it, free up some space. Alex spend quite a bit of money to pay for the space on this very active forum.

Just remember, people will ask the same question that was asked in another thread, every single day- in turn starting a new thread about the same thing. There's soo much repitition on here.

Free up some space. If you need help, just ask..again and again as usual. Nothing new here people.

True. I see your point. I think some threads automatically drop off after so long don't they? I'm sure Alex doesn't have infinite space. This kind of space costs money that's for sure.

I think they should be archived and categorized...like put all the "is it worth it" together on one thread and delete the repeat answers.

Boy that would take a lot of work, not to mention it wouldn't free up any space. Wait, you said delete repeat answers....that would free up a lot of space. Still a LOT of work.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
