Chronicles of Cloe!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Honestly, and I don't know why, I just don't give a shit. lol. They are my friends, so as friends they should be supportive no-matter what I decide, and if there not, then there not my friends. I didnt do anything wrong. I just made a smart decision for myself, so what do I have to hide??

Boy, don't I sound like a bitch!!

Cloe, you do not sound like a bitch. It sounds to me like a healthy dose of self esteem. I am usually a very private person, but I have been telling my clients about my upcoming surgery...I tell the ones who I believe will be happy for me. Still haven't told my family tho, just because I don't want them to worry. Congrats on telling people, maybe they will be even more supportive now! Yeah for you!

Hey... I saw something about you telling your mom you'd lost 82lbs. I don't see that in your ticker!! Is that including your pre-op diet loss too? If so, include it in your ticker!!! I DO!

Okay Mandi follow the bouncing ball:playball:

Im down to 277, which is a total of 70 pounds. Then add in my christmas goal which is 17 pounds. So I'm down 12 pounds on my Christmas goal to 265. Five pounds from my goal.

GAINING on you, your like 70 pounds away!! Silly rabbit!! I think I am now, where you were when you started:rolleyes: .LOL

Nope.. I don't follow. :phanvan what do you weigh now?! 277 or 265? If your Xmas goal was 265, and you're 5 pounds away, wouldn't that make you 270!??!?

I officially started the pre-op diet at 284, so there!

And, I'm saying, you're catching up to my total amount lost :)

LMAO!!!

Take the first ticker and add it to the christmas goal ticker.

Dosent that make sense??

Maybe only in my senior mind.LOL

I don't even know how to find my first ticker without deleting the last ticker.

I just thought I would wait til the end of the goal time, then add that amount to my overall ticker goal thing.......:tired

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
