Went to 'Panic at the Disco'. Well, I actually didnt go in but we had a good night. Found out the Collisium is a the exhibition grounds in Toronto. My friend and I dropped the kids off and went shopping downtown and out for dinner. It was fun, and the kids had fun.

Well, don't laugh green. I truly do feel like a bumpkin when I hit downtown Toronto. Anyway, dropped the kids off at the concert, and went down King St. towards spadina. We saw sooooo many cool shops, and we wanted sooooooooooo badly to go in, but we were scared of crack-heads and prostitudes and stuff (it was really dark, stop laughing). Anyway, we saw a winners and decided that it would be safe, so we parked in a lot, took 4 tries to figure out the pay-machine ticket thing. Then after winners we walked around the corner to a 'shoeless joes', ate dinner and watched the leafs game. That is about adventurous as I get, I would love to do more but I would need a tour guide, cause I'm tooo scared. Pathetic, I know:)

Aw, kiddy, I am so not laughing! I have had the same feelings my very own self. Being on the road and in a strange city ain't that easy. Toronto only seems simple to me because it's my crib.

I've done a lot of travelling overseas in places where I have wished that I didn't need to eat or have a bladder.:) Life can get scary when you are away from home. Trust me, the Green girl knows. (She's been around if ya know what I mean.....)

Hey Cloe....as long as you had fun, and that is all that mattes.

Green: oh boy, can I relate....we should swap stories sometimes. Picture me alone in places such as Amsterdam (I got mugged), Columbia (yes, partying along with the drug cartels....I was escorted by armed guards off the "streets" that I wandered into towards a "safer" area), Berlin (getting off at the wrong train stop and wandering the bus depot freakin' out of my mind)....oh..sometimes I wonder how I got out of some situations intact. But, looking back now...of course they are all awesome memories that I wouldn't trade for the world. (but I would never let any kid of mine do what I did....at least not by themselves....I think I was just lucky!).

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
