I am in the Cypress area, and would love to see if there is a group that would like to possibly get to get together. I know I have seen threads here before but nothing concrete.

I would be willing to start and manage a Facebook page if anyone is interested.

I am being sleeved on the 25th of June at Memorial Herman Memorial city by Dr Levia.

Daniel I think dedicationg time to a FB page would probably be a bit much...

I have a group called Houston Active Sleevers - except I cannot seem to get it active.

Dealfind has a coupon for a paintball range INSIDE the beltway, in the 77084 code.

19$ for field fee, gun, air, 100 pellets...that is enough for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours play...5$ more is somethig like 200 pellets more.

Would you like to go?

Would anyone else like to go?

Also I will be doing some other things soon. Join me if you would like.

Zube park - I ride often, Saturday or Sunday mornings.

New Paleo hall at HMNS - !!! OMG so going as soon as I can.

Lots of walks and festivals and such, just strollin' around.

Galveston to rent a pedal car!!!

:)

I hate to say it but I woud probably decline a FB page, with this and other commitments I just have too much - plus there is a group here, if everyone would just use it...

...the problem is there are too many goups, spreading everyone too thin. We are already here...

I am not saying it because Houston Active Sleevers is my group. Someone can take it over or moderate, I just want whatever we do to work, lol.

I would really like to meet you guys.

I completely understand about the idea of to many groups to keep up with, there is a lot out there to deal with. I will say so many people have FB on their many portable devices that they keep up with notifications and updates more readily. I use it for my photography business and it works wonderfully. I am not trying to convince anyone just pointing out the benefits. Also if it is private it stays that way private.

I just joined the meetup site and am going to familiarize myself with it.

I am going to try to make the event this weekend. I look forward to getting to know everyone and joining in our journey together to a healthier us.

Would love to meet people who have already gotten the sleeve. But I can't travel far with my car. I live in the Spring/Klien area.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
