Slimming Bathing Suits...

Recommended Posts

FYI on a company called Cyberswim - I do not have any stake in this you can google or yahoo or bing, whatever. I had a conversation with a friend and thought it might be good to pass on the info.

Cyberswim is a company that sells slimming bathing suits. Its what they do. Good selection and higher prices, but the suits do what they say..Just remember there is no magic trick to a slimming bathign suit - you feel like you are in a spanky! lol

Since beach weather is fully upon us, I thought it might be good to mention.

Thanks for sharing!! I may have to look into this, though i'm not sure if I would be willing to deal with the "spanky" feeling lol. I love to swim so I'm not sure if the restriction would be worth it.. but maybe!

It doesn't restrict as far as swimming that bad. The torso movement and arms and legs are free, so it feels snug, but for me that feels good against my tummy anyways.

I am getting one of the separates that has a shelf bra. Its just a preference I have always wore swim trunks and a top (even when I cut off a suit and hemmed it myself!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
