When Were Able To Drive?

Well, that says it all - when were you able to drive? I mean short distances - 30 minutes or less.

I drove after about 4 days! I was off my pain medications as soon as I left the hospital (2 days) & felt fine to drive!

As soon as I was off of pain meds. 4 days. Not a big deal.

I've been driving since I got home from the hospital 3 days after surgery, Im currently 8 days post op and am planning on going back to work in the next 3-4 days (I'm a truck driver).

i think at 2 1/2 weeks.. i just wasn't feeling it. had nausea was throwing up. i dirty the car a few times lol out the window lol...

Within a week. Wanted to make sure I was off my pain meds. Started going up the mountain which is a 2 hour drive from my house. Had to stop and walk a little to prevent blot clots. ;)

My Doctor had me wait 2 weeks. He said just in case I had to stop short and hit the break or make a quick turn, he didn't want me to cause any damage to myself. If you can wait, take it easy, let your family and friends wait on you hand and foot. Lol :)
