  9. congrats on ur sleeve! walk walk walk n sip sip sip...
  10. as far as notes, i think they record ur weight every month, the food you ate everyday so keep a food diary, they write down how many pounds u lost or gained, your activity levels for the month, what did u do, type of exercise if any, your morning schedule, the times u go to sleep,n hours of sleep u get. if u have sleep ap but they still may require u to do a sleep study, i had to do one at the last min.. but my insurance had already approved me without one, my surgeon just wanted to make sure i did not need a machine during surgery n after recovery.
  11. speaking from my experience, mines had to be supervised as in a nutritionist, u go visit once a month, they record ur weight, the calories u ate that month what u ate so on so on.. i had to log in and record everything i ate, n my nut monitored it, after ur done with ur last meeting, by then they will be submitting everything to ur insurance, i had to go to two classes on how to eat post op, n was given a booklet with guided instructions on the vitamins, times ur suppose to eat, calories.. so far so good! i am going to be three month post op on the June 5 n i can say i am half way to goal! yay... so yea check that out. they r there to guide u through the six month, suggesting ur calorie intake which will enable u to lose weight.. personally.. i went on a food funeral thu my six month n was actually gaining 2 to 6 pounds here n there.. but that's because i thought because of my weight n bmi that i wasn't going to get approved.. but if i knew i would of stick to the darn diet my nut put me on! would have been like 30 pounds less post op.. n probably at goal already!..
  12. congrats to u guys! woohoo!!!!

  17. omg i was talking to one of my co workers about excess skin since he is also a personal trainer, n he was telling me just run, n drink water.. then he said the only people that get excess skin are those who have weight loss surgery, those cheaters taking the easy way out" i gulped so hard because i got weight loss surgery n i don't consider myself a cheater nor taking the easy way out, its really hard, what the hell is he talking about, so ignorant, u don't know what we go thru, how we feel.. u cant say things like that if u haven't experience it ur self. so i told him, what ur crazy i applaud those people for having balls to drastically change their body permanently for their well being. n i just left because i was so mad at him... but people are so ignorant. go ahead girl educate that person!
  18. wow i didnt try that til i was four week post op, i took it easy on my stomach, did my phases on point, phase one clear liquids 1 week, then phase 2 week 2 full liquids , week 3 pureed phase.. week 4 soft phase.. which is basically solid foods but chew chew chew... now i can eat anything.. but i follow my nut booklet not too much fat /carbs or sugar. no snacking between meals n sip all day. but everybody is different, wat works for u might not work for others.. so if ur doc is ok with wat ur doing, n ur sleeve isnt giving u problems go for it. n it gets better. just dont get too comfortable .

  23. I get the hiccups too when I over eat or drink but usually I feel when I am getting full n I stop literally at 1/3 of a cup. With liquids I can drink 6oz. No more ..sometimes at 4oz I guess it depends wat type of liquid it is...
