Ok I'm 4 Weeks out , and as of last wk I broke out all over my chin and cheekbones, I never ever had this problem..I have an appt with the derm Morrow anyone go threw this?...I thinking.g it hormonal ..does it go away..I'm not vain by all means but these bad boys hurt

I read somewhere that a high protein diet can give you zits. I'm dang near 60 and am having some zits on chin and neck - something I've not had in decades!!

I am also having this problem. I am 47 and NEVER had zits before in my life. Yes, I was at least blessed with clear skin. Can't say that now. Mine are not huge or very sore, but still. I figured it was due to the change that my whole system is going through. Hang in there and hope they get better soon.

Yes I went through this also but it settled down after a few months, somewhere at the end of the 2^nd month, hang in there.

I'm not afraid to admit, I am vain and reading about the zits plus the hair loss has me freaking. I called off school in high school because of a zit before. I've been blessed with an extremely clear complexion and oh boy, this is a complication that I really hope passes me up.

I also have been break out and my face is oily more than usally. But the zits are not painful.

I am using oil of olay facial cleaner. helping so far.

I have notice alot of hormonal changes.

Comes from the anesthesia. Happened to me... Just treat it vigorously and it skin should eventually go back to normal.

I went through the same problem! It was awful. Mine cleared up on it's own around the 1.5-2 month post op mark. Hopefully thats the case for you as well.

Went through Same thing...am now on minocycline antibiotics daily and it cleared up. I have always battled with acne, it was better and now it is back.

I broke out very badly starting about 2 weeks post-op and lasting about 2 weeks. My skin is normally clear, but at one point I had about 17 zits on my chin alone.

It's hormonal (in my case). Chin acne is often related to hormones, and especially in the first handful of weeks our bodies are going through hormone hell.
