LOL! This post is hilarious :) I'm 7 months out, 114 down and I still have my "blobs" (teehee). Are they smaller? Yes, but not horribly so. I am the same proportion if that makes sense. I had bigger boobs on my bigger body. Technically they are smaller, but they really don't seem like it because all of me is smaller. My butt... kinda a different story :( But I can always build up butt muscle when I switch to focusing on exercise more than weight loss. I can say for sure that I'm not complaining about being in size 6 pants :D

Overall, even if I did lose my assets I think it would be 100% worth it. Even though I felt good, even at my highest, I feel a million times better now.

It is my understanding, that when you hit the "normal" range, your ratio stays the same even if everything is smaller. The reason so many women complain about sagging is because the ligaments hidden in your pectoral muscles have adjusted to handling a certain amount of weight. In many, many cases when you lose a lot of weight, the ligaments do not adjust well. Keeping the pectoral muscles in shape will help, but it will not completely fix the problem. I have gained and lost weight so many times, I have this problem to some extent. Honestly, I would rather it be something I can strap up then have it being an issue somewhere I can't control!

The only thing is that for most of us, its totally worth it! I was super sad looking at my old body every day. I see my extra skin and my "bat wings" (under my arms) and even though I don't really *like* them... i'm almost fond of it. It is so much easier to have to deal with those things than carry around the weight every day. Also, when it comes to boobies at least, while they may not look great in the buff... it is very easy to "fake it".

I'm 6 weeks out and 25lbs down and I can feel and see a difference in my "blobs" and butt already. I am technically still a 42c. I have always been chesty.. went I was 20 and 119lbs I was a 36c and size 3-5. I'm hoping when I reach goal that I won't lose everything but who knows. I will probably need a boob lift at least as for my butt I don't know time will tell.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
