Youre not suppose to have ANY liquids after midnight on Sunday. But during the day you can have the clear liquids. I had jello all day. Ill be a week post op on monday...but be prepared to not have ANY water after your surgery. They wont let you drink anything until you've.had an.upper gi to test for openings ...also the drink they make you take three times taste so nasty....bearable...but nasty....they'll probably offer you lemon swabs for your dry mouth....TAKE IT. You wont regret that....it really helps..

I had mine on Monday the 18th too!

June 1st. It's been a rocky road since and I'm hoping and praying it gets better. :)

I'll say a prayer for you as well! I was very overwhelmed yesterday, but I felt better this morning. I think that things will get a little better each day...

Good luck!

Little Bits

Good luck GIJane, and Little bits every day is a little different than the day before that's for darn sure. Keeping you in my prayers. Each day does get a little easier.

I am actually very tired out today and probably more sore today than I have been in a few days. Wednesday can't seem to get here fast enough because I have questions for the surgeon, and I'm really hoping to advance to pureed food. I really am praying they don't make me wait another two weeks. It's not that I'm hungry, it's that I want to get more protein in and the shakes are not cutting it for me still.

June 29th. Mt. Sinai in NYC.

Prayers are very welcome. I'm scared of the irreversible changes coming.

Prayers are coming your way. I am the day before you. I am scared to, BUT I am scared more of living the rest of my life dealing with obesity. I think we will be fine!

Are you all talking about memorial in Houston?

No, TN.

I'm having mine on the 25 of June on Monday ....

What happened Little Bits?

Hey Juners,

How many calories are you taking in each day? The first week I was about 300 and now I have moved up to 500+ during week two. Is this too much?

June 26 in Switzerland!

My is in the morning omg I can't sleep ... But I'm so ready and scared I k it will be ok I'm from Olathe ks. Any one else from ks .?

Tam, I can't sleep either so I am up doing some work that I shouldn't because I'm on MLOA  .

Well it's the big day tomorrow for me. I have had my band in and out a few years later and was fine, but for some reason today I am really tearful. Maybe it's because it's a bigger op and a bigger recovery time, I don't know. I am just really worried this time round :-(
